K & R Purdon has been fabricating stainless steel for Tasmanian businesses since 1963, working from our workshop in Warrane, just 10 minutes from Hobart CBD.
Stainless steel demands a different level of care than mild steel — the right grade, the right weld finish, and no contamination from other metals and it’s a material we work with regularly alongside our broader fabrication and machining capabilities.
What we fabricate
Our stainless steel work covers custom fittings and brackets, corrosion-resistant fabrication for marine and industrial environments, food-safe equipment and fixtures, and decorative or architectural stainless pieces built to your exact specification. Because welding and precision machining happen under the same roof here, finishing work that needs tight tolerances doesn’t need to go to a separate workshop.
